The next generation is filled with opportunity. You never know, but they could be game - changers. They could be entrepreneurs. They could be hard workers. They could help solve our global warming issues.
But it all starts from the beginning.
It's how we raise and teach them that widely determines who they're going to be.
Teaching is such a beautiful, inspiring job, and all of us could be teachers in our own ways. One thing we can teach the new, the next, the young generation is to always respect the environment.
Sometimes, you could see people throwing waste on the ground, throwing half their dinner in the trash, polluting the air for no reason, etc.
We won't do that.
Let's not only teach the next gen, but also help family members, friends, and others understand how big climate change, all the world's problems of poverty, pollution and violence, and build an inspiring, environmental community around us, whether online and in - person, and through some way, let's connect each other through any way we wish possible based on the skills we know.
If we're good at cooking, teach others how to make some amazing climatarian recipes, and you can donate food to organizations as well.
If we're good at computer science or engineering, teach others how to make an app that raises climate awareness or helps in some way. We could also use robotics to help the environment in some way as well.
If we're good at biology, teach others the benefits of plants, animals, and a healthy ecosystem and what that would do for the planet.
If we're good at architecture, make plans to design structures using stable, Earth - friendly materials, takes up less space and doesn't destroy habitats in the process.
If we're good at art, writing, dancing, drama, or singing, come up with choreographies, plays, visuals, stories, blogs, or songs that communicate your feelings about the environment.
If we're good at sports, play for many environmental or other fundraisers for good causes, and play to promote awareness.
If we're good at yoga or martial arts, do it to promote environmental causes or simply teach others to feel more connected to the environment and go with the flow through our meditational skills, developing a sense of strength, connection, passion and love for it.
If we're good at entrepreneurship and business, help or create a business that helps in some way, whether it sells eco inventions, sells climatarian foods with reusable packaging, etc.
If we're good at gardening, start a community or personal garden to get organic veggies, fruits, herbs and flowers to share and build a healthy diet for us and others.
And through the process, we can teach others these things too, and pitch in any way we can.
Teaching the next gen is not only about teaching them, but it's about teaching ourselves the new norm we can create and about making a foundational, stable, environmentally friendly future ahead of us.
