What is climate change? Well, climate change is a very widespread topic. It ranges from roaring wildfires to melting ice glaciers.
Climate change is the increasing or decreasing of temperatures on our planet's climate. The Ice Age is an example of climate change where climate temperatures drastically decreased. The climate change going on now is the opposite, but as bad. And because of this, there are a lot of rising temperatures. And this harms our environment in an extremely horrible way. And it's not only Earth changing from time to time during climate change: it's us, humans. As we burn fossil fuels (gases formed from decayed organic matter that's been pressurized through the years), we let out too much carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, etc., into the air. This increases the greenhouse effect (the process in which greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide absorb the Sun's heat for warmth in our Earth, meant to balance the temperatures), absorbing too much heat, thus effecting in rising global temperatures and more frequent natural disasters.

More wildfires, for one, are happening because of climate change. In some particular areas, heat is causing extreme droughts, and, when it gets really hot, starts fires. They can become very deadly, too, causing many deaths of people, animals, and plants alike.
For another, ice glaciers are slowly starting to melt away. This is also a very important topic because it is a huge factor in flooding and many animals losing their habitats. Since the ice glaciers are solid forms of water, they would only add to the water in the ocean, increasing death risks and more natural disasters taking place at the coast. Animals that live on these ice glaciers would eventually die from the freezing water and lack of land to stay on so as not to sink in the water.
Lastly, there are more hurricanes and storms because of climate change. This is because as temperatures rise, this speeds up the water cycle and water evaporates more quickly. This increases the frequency of storms on land in the precipitation part. There would also be more winds and flooding.
These are just some of the disasters happening because of climate change. So this is the right time to start greener and cleaner habits to help our planet before global warming goes too far.
